Site Quality Manager – Boston, MA
Island is seeking a motivated and organized Quality Manager to join our Boston office. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Quality Manager is responsible for documenting project status from start to completion.
Ability and interest in working at the construction site
Work closely with Foremen to gain project insight and real-time status
Full cycle project involvement from start to completion
Accurate and timely documentation and record keeping
Ability to take accurate photos to support project status reports
Documentation of completed work to avoid damages and communicate turn-around completes
Provide weekly updates and reports to the Senior PM and GC
Ideal candidates exhibit the following attributes and background:
Ability to work successfully in a collaborative team oriented environment
Prior experience in project management, quality control and/or construction a plus
Knowledge of curtainwall / glazing systems a huge plus
Strong attention to detail, record keeping, and documenting skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Junior level and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.
